The Center for Agricultural Policy and Trade Studies (CAPTS) at North Dakota State University is proud to welcome its graduate students, Yasin Yildirim (Ph.D. student in Agribusiness and Applied Economics), and Felipe Barbosa, Manoj Datta, and Burlin Fuglie (M.S. students in Agribusiness and Applied Economics), back to campus for the Fall 2025 semester.
These students are beginning or continuing their academic journey with CAPTS, where they will collaborate closely with Dr. Sandro Steinbach, Director of CAPTS, and the center’s research team. Their contributions will support projects that address critical questions in agricultural economics and trade policy, reinforcing CAPTS’s mission of advancing knowledge and strengthening the agricultural sector.
As graduate students, Yasin, Felipe, Manoj, and Burlin bring a dynamic mix of experience, new perspectives, and commitment to research. Their work will not only enhance the academic environment at NDSU but also prepare them for leadership roles in academia, industry, and policymaking.
CAPTS extends special thanks to Dr. William Nganje, Chair of the Department of Agribusiness and Applied Economics, for his warm welcome and support as the semester begins.
The center looks forward to celebrating the dedication and achievements of its graduate students throughout the semester and beyond.
